About Clarissa Burton
Clarissa Burton is the Executive Director of Burton Institute of Education™. She holds an M.A. in Business from Webster University (2005), a B.A. in Human Relations from Ottawa University (1997), and an EdS in Adult Education from Walden University. Ms. Burton is also certified as a TESOL (Teach English to Speakers of Other Languages)/TESL (Teach English as a Second Language) instructor.
Ms. Burton is a published author of more than 10 books. She publishes blogs on several online websites, is the host of an online radio program, Let’s Just Talk Radio Show on BlogTalkRadio, and has a YouTube™ video series, Until Next Time.
Toastmasters International and Public Speaking
Ms. Burton is also a member of Toastmasters International and has earned her CC (Competent Communication), CL (Competent Leadership), and HPL (High Performance Leadership) awards. She is the Area Director for Area 63, Northeast Division, District 30 and the VP of Education for Niles Township Toastmasters Club #665 and former VP of Education for the Toast of UL #01478379 (Northbrook, IL) and Toastmasters Unlimited Club #1379 (Kansas City, MO).
